If you hard restart a frozen phone, the device can take a screenshot while holding down the power and volume down buttons. Hold the key after the screenshot to initiate a hard reboot.

On some Samsung Galaxy models, go to Settings > Battery & device care and tap the three-dot menu icon in the upper right corner. Select Automation and tap Automatically restart at set time. Slide the On switch to the right and set your preferred auto-restart schedule.

If you have a Windows, Mac, or Linux computer and your phone’s power button is malfunctioning, reboot your phone using the Android Debug Bridge (ADB) tool. Install the tool on your computer, enable USB debugging on your phone, connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable.
