Android Phone Keeps Turning Off? Here Is How To Easily Fix It
Almost all brands and models of Android smartphones have a power button. Press and hold the power button for 5-10 seconds to open the power menu. Then select Restart to turn off the device and turn it on again.
A frozen or unresponsive Android device may not display the power menu when you press and hold the power button. Reboot (also called “hard restart” or “hard reboot”) to turn it off and on again.
Press and hold the power button for 15-30 seconds. Or, press and hold the Power key and Volume Down key at the same time for 7-10 seconds. Your phone will remain on a black screen for a few seconds and automatically turn back on. If nothing happens, your device probably doesn’t support the key combination. Try holding the power and volume up buttons for at least 15 seconds.
If you hard restart a frozen phone, the device can take a screenshot while holding down the power and volume down buttons. Hold the key after the screenshot to initiate a hard reboot.

Your phone may slow down and develop some problems after a long period of use. Configuring your phone to automatically restart based on a schedule can optimize its performance. Fortunately, some Android phone manufacturers (Samsung for example) include an automatic reboot feature in their devices.
You can schedule a period (time or day) when you want your phone to automatically shut down and restart.
On some Samsung Galaxy models, go to Settings > Battery & device care and tap the three-dot menu icon in the upper right corner. Select Automation and tap Automatically restart at set time. Slide the On switch to the right and set your preferred auto-restart schedule.
Note: The auto reboot feature supports Samsung phones running at least Android v5.0 Lollipop out of the box. You won’t find the option on older devices even if you upgrade them to Android Lollipop. Additionally, carrier-locked phones may not have an automatic restart feature.

For Samsung phones, turn off the device and wait 30 seconds. Then press and hold the power button and release the button when the Samsung logo appears on the screen. Press and hold the Volume Down key after releasing the Power key. Release the Volume Down key when your phone starts in safe mode.
Alternatively, switch off your phone, wait 30 seconds and simultaneously press and hold the power and volume down buttons. When your phone’s screen lights up, release the power button but continue to hold the volume down button. Release the button when the phone starts in safe mode. Check for “Safe Mode” in the lower left corner of the screen.
Restart your phone to exit safe mode. On some Samsung phones, you can exit safe mode from the notification panel. Swipe down from the top of your phone’s screen, tap Safe mode is on, and select Turn it off. It will reboot your phone, exit safe mode and restore all your apps.
If you have a Windows, Mac, or Linux computer and your phone’s power button is malfunctioning, reboot your phone using the Android Debug Bridge (ADB) tool. Install the tool on your computer, enable USB debugging on your phone, connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable.

Next, open Command Prompt (on Windows) or Terminal (on macOS), type or paste adb reboot into the console, and press Enter or Return on your keyboard.
